W każdym domu czy firmie pojawia się konieczność przetrzymywania jakiś dokumentów czy papierów. I przeważnie w takim przypadku używa się do tego celu najróżniejsze odmiany teczek. Występują one w bardzo dużej ilości odmian i wzorów - różnią się wielkością, rodzajem użytego materiału i przeznaczeniem. Zależnie od przeznaczenia stosowane być mogą do przetrzymywania dokumentacji w archiwum albo do codziennego ich przechowywania i transportu.
